will be recorded for an injured player, but the game will continue with as
many that can play.

Ejection -
If there is any fighting, shoving, etc., the Parks and Recreation Department
will suspend players.
Player
suspension:
Players who receive a
game disqualification according to ASA/MSF guidelines will also receive a
ten day suspension which begins the day following the incident. Suspended
players are not allowed on park property during the suspension period. The
suspended player's team will not be allowed to play if the suspended player
is on park property and that game will also be forfeited if the suspended
player does not leave immediately. Reinstatement: suspensions shall be
immediate and remain in effect until such time that the suspended party and
his team manager appear before the Parks and Recreation Sportsmanship and
Eligibility committee.

Home Run Rule
- A 2 home run limit for all leagues,
excess homeruns are outs.

Courtesy Runner

The person who made the last out will be used as the
courtesy runner.

Rules -
-
The
first and third base coaches will make
all the calls for first, second and third base. The catcher will call balls and
strikes. If the ball hits the mat it is a strike, if not it is a ball. The
pitcher will make the call at home if the catcher is involved in the play.

Teams may use
unlimited entry into the game, but they must bat in the same order. If they
bat out of order, the batter is out.

They will use unlimited courtesy runners. The last out will be used as the
courtesy runner.

On an overthrow, you will get 2 bases from the start of play.
Out of
play balls, stop the play of the ball and one base is awarded.

Players may not play with another team in the over 35 league once they are
listed on a roster for that league.

Each team must furnish a catcher and a pitcher, and will use a 3/2 count on
pitches with a courtesy foul.

Each team will get 1/2 point in the standings in the event of a tie.

Time Limit
-
One hour game time limit.
We
will use the tie breaker rule if running late per game. Please hustle your
players in and out of the field to keep the games on schedule. Tie
breaker
rule: The batter who made the last out will be put on second base to start
an inning and three outs must occur. The same rule applies for the
home team. At the end of that inning, a winner will be
declared if a run scores. If no runs score, the game will end in a tie with a
point going to each team.

There will be a 10 minute grace period for the first game starting. When you
finish your game, please get off the field so that the next team up will be
ready for their start. Because there is no one making sure that you will be
starting on time, managers must have your team members out of the field
ready to play at your start time. teams may not start a new inning after
7:10 p.m.

Year End Tournament -
August 9, 2009 This tournament will be held on the Sunday following the end of league play.
Teams will be seeded according to their finish. The tournament will be a
double elimination format. Each team will play two games minimum.

Blood Rule -
You need to carry an extra shirt and pants to accommodate the blood borne
pathogen rule in
the book.
