  • Rules -

  • The first and third base coaches will make all the calls for first, second and third base. The catcher will call balls and strikes. If the ball hits the mat it is a strike, if not it is a ball. The pitcher will make the call at home if the catcher is involved in the play.

  • Teams may use unlimited entry into the game, but they must bat in the same order. If they bat out of order, the batter is out.

  • They will use unlimited courtesy runners. The last out will be used as the courtesy runner.

  • On an overthrow, you will get 2 bases from the start of play. Out of play balls, stop the play of the ball and one base is awarded.

  • Players may not play with another team in the over 35 league once they are listed on a roster for that league.

  • Each team must furnish a catcher and a pitcher, and will use a 3/2 count on pitches with a courtesy foul.

  • Each team will get 1/2 point  in the standings in the event of a tie.

  • Time Limit - One hour game time limit. We will use the tie breaker rule if running late per game. Please hustle your players in and out of the field to keep the games on schedule. Tie breaker rule: The batter who made the last out will be put on second base to start an inning and three outs must occur. The same rule applies for the home team. At the end of that inning, a winner will be declared if a run  scores. If no runs score, the game will end in a tie with a  point going to each team.

  • There will be a 10 minute grace period for the first game starting. When you finish your game, please get off the field so that the next team up will be ready for their start. Because there is no one making sure that you will be starting on time, managers must have your team members out of the field ready to play at your start time. teams may not start a new inning after 7:10 p.m.

  • Year End Tournament - August 9, 2009  This tournament will be held on the Sunday following the end of league play. Teams will be seeded according to their finish. The tournament will be a double elimination format. Each team will play two games minimum.

No drinking or smoking is allowed on the playing fields. We ask you to please pick up any cans or cups that you may have tossed on the ground. We do not want to be forced to enforce any drinking ordinances, so please help out. Do not sit and drink after your  9:15 game if you have one.
