Run Rules -
10 Run rule after 5 innings, and 20 run rule after 3½.

Game Postponement -
Most games will be postponed by umpire. If it has been raining all
day and the Parks and Recreation Department feels it could pose a liability
problem, it reserves the right to postpone a game. Please call the rainout
number at 454-2900 ext. 3350 if the rain out page has not been updated.

Number of players
participating in the game -
We will use the rule in the book. If there is no person batting in the 10th
batting position, no out is recorded.

Number of players playing
because of an injury - No
outs will be taken in the event of an injury.

Ejection -
Player ejected from game is followed by player suspension rule.
Players who receive a game disqualification according to ASA/MSF guidelines
will also receive a ten day suspension which begins the day following the
incident. Suspended players are not allowed on park property during the
suspension period. The suspended player's team will not be allowed to play
if the suspended player is on park property and that game will also be
forfeited if the suspended player does not leave immediately. Reinstatement:
suspensions shall be immediate and remain in effect until such time that the
suspended party and his team manager appear before the Parks and Recreation
Sportsmanship and Eligibility committee.

Number of games per season -
18

District or State fee -
District and state tournament fees are prepaid. If you cannot play in
the tournament once qualified,
you will have to find a team to replace you to get your money back. If you
do not qualify in the league due to many entrants into the tournament,
your money will be refunded. There are no districts in Women's League, you
automatically go to State.

Blood Rule -
You will need to carry an extra shirt and pants to accommodate the
blood borne pathogen rule.

Time Limit

One hour game time limit.
We
will use the tie breaker rule if running late per game. Please hustle your
players in and out of the field to keep the games on schedule. Tie
breaker
rule: The batter who made the last out will be put on second base to start
an inning and three outs must occur. The same rule applies for the
home team. At the end of that inning, a winner will be
declared if a run scores. If no runs score, the game will end in a tie with a
point going to each team.
